I tend to prefer really brutal old school BM, but I also enjoy the viking BM sub genre. I say keyboards are nice,, but they can't be over used, unless it's viking BM. Different types of death metal is nice on occasion, and I can handle hardcore the odd time. My favorite black metal bands are Slechtvalk, Frosthardr, Antestor, Crimson Moonlight, Immortal and Taake. As for death metal I'd have to say Crimson Thorn, Mortification(scrolls only), Immortal Souls and Decapitated. You'll honestly get opinionated reviews biased to black metal, but I hope they will help you in choosing what music you wish to purchase. Whitewahsed (Editor) I love melodic and heavy music. My favourite styles are power metal and melodic thrash but I also enjoy classical metal and progressive metal as well as rock music in general and even some more modern stuff. My favourite bands are Deliverance, Tourniquet, Saviour Machine, Jacobs Dream, Narnia and Rob Rock's Rage of Creation.
