Veni Domine - Fall babylon fall

The first thing I heard of this band was the song 'Wisdom Call' and since the day I heard it I have been more and more fascinated about this band. They play somekind of symphonic progressive doom-metal. And they are doing a really great job!!! So beware if you're looking for some 150bpm speed metal I DO NOT recommend you buy this album because it is quite slow, but I love it anyway :-)

The songs length varies from about 6mins up to 24(!!) mins. And none of them are bad, actually they are all perfect doom songs, and they truely show why this release is considered as one of the finest symphonic doom albums ever.

Band information
Symphonic progressive doom metal at its very best. Veni Domine has over the years been pretty much the standard when talking about symphonic doom metal. Entered the scene majestically with their highly acclaimed "Fall Babylon Fall" and has ever since been producing high quality metal. Fredrik's voice reminds a lot of early Geoff Tate and music vice they are often described as similar to them, even if Veni Domine has a far more symphonic and epic sound.
