Veni Domine - Spiritual wasteland

The latest album being released by our doom heroes Veni Domine, this time they're have made a step more in to the heavy-metal are, but you can still hear much of the good, old, doom-sound in there music.
One thing that makes this album more enjoyable to listen to is that they have really improved their skill in writing the lyrics. Now we're just not talking about historical events...:-)
But I wonder if they did sacrifice some of their musical skills when they did improve on their writing ability, because when I listen to this album I get the feeling that their music was better on the F.B.F and M.S. albums, bur perhaps it is just a personal opinion...

But still I recommend you all to invest some $$$ and go and grab this CD!

Band information
Symphonic progressive doom metal at its very best. Veni Domine has over the years been pretty much the standard when talking about symphonic doom metal. Entered the scene majestically with their highly acclaimed "Fall Babylon Fall" and has ever since been producing high quality metal. Fredrik's voice reminds a lot of early Geoff Tate and music vice they are often described as similar to them, even if Veni Domine has a far more symphonic and epic sound.
