Deuteronomium - Street Corner Queen

What a monsterious name these guys have, I always struggle when I shall tell other people about Deuteronomium because I hate to say that word!!
Well now over to the music. It is quite difficullt to describe this album because it isn't an usual album. It containts almost every singel music style in the metal genre (plus some other styles as well). But generally it is death metal. The hot chops of this album is without any doubt the masterpiece 'Spell of Hell'. I really love this song great piano intro and then some hyper-fast-dunder-energic-black-metal(try to say that fast 10 times...)!
If only Deuteronomium had produced more songs like this one, this album would have been a classic, that's for sure! Sadly they didn't but that doesn't mean that this is a bad album, it still contains good songs like, 'Street corner queen', 'Druglord' and on my digipak edition also a superb cover of One bad pig's Red River.

Finally I have to say that this disc has been spinning in my stereo at least 100 times. I love it!

Band information
Considered as legends in the Finnish Christian metal scene. They started as a death metal band with some black metal influences. Later (Here to stay, which ironically was their last album) they turned "Death'n'roll" and approached a more modern sound. Recently they did a reunion gig but if that was a new start for the band is not yet known.
