Liberty n Justice - Soundtrack Of A Soul
Ever since getting L'n'J's debut album I have been longing for the new one. I think their debut was pretty good, despite - for reasons unknown - trying to break the ultimate law in rock/metal business by including rap here and there, God save us!
Fortunatly Justin has come to senses with his new baby, "Soundtrack of a soul", which is not much short of a masterpiece. He has gathered some of the most known hard rock singers around (Sebastian Bach, Jamie Rowe,Oni Logan ,Tony Harnell, Stephen Pearcy,Joe Cerisano,Ted Poley to name a few great) and together the result is most impressive. Rocking crackers like "Another Nail", "Granade" and "Killer grin" weights up against softer songs like "Malice in wonderland", "Make believe" and my personal favourite "If The World Could Be Mine".
If this doesn't feed your hunger for hard rock I don't know what will do. Liberty'n'Justice has succeeded very well in bringing so many different singers and styles and still not losing the flow, which runs from the first song to the very last. When I listen to the album I feel like I am listening to an album, created by a band and not a compilation album (which is a danger when taking in singer from every corner in the world).
The only flaw I've found is the lack of real cool guitar solos, but I guess I have to wait for the next album until that happends!
Highly recommended for fans of hard rock and melodic rock!
