What did I expect when I recieved this one, well actually not a lot. Because
I had found their earlier releases Very boooooring. But I always give bands a
new chance when they release new stuff so I did put it in my stereo and prayed...! And I was quite happily surprised, they sounded much more intensive than before and they had changed their style to a more widespread area. I was quite fast hooked on this stuff. Many great solos and songs, nothing extra ordinary but descent stuff. They sound more like Stratovarius and Helloween now, which pleases me a lot! The lyrics is not anything special, you can, if you try real hard, figure out that they are actually a christian band (at least the members are christians...). So if you like melodic metal you should try this out, but I still recommend Jacob's Dream a lot more! |
