Where can I
get the CD?

Bloodgood - Shakin' the world(DVD)

The is good heavy metal bands, there is better heavy metal bands and there is Bloodgood. The legendary fourpiece unit, hailing from USA, conquered the world in the mid/late 80's with their professional music and excellent songwritings.I spoke to a friend of my some time ago and he said that "Bloodgood" has not released a single bad song!. I have to agree there. They did not recieve the gift of writing bad songs.

So here they are back in business (please come to europe!) and before hitting the tour road they give us this DVD, containing a quite special show. Packed with theaterical skills (performed with perfection) from about 20, or something, performers, we here get something that has never before (or after, spare Saviour Machine) been seen in the christian metal scene. In many of the songs they used dramas and other effects, to power up the message in the songs. My favorite one is the drama about the crucifixtion, that's an absolutley stunning performance.

They somehow manage to nail every song tight and clear, and they add some more heaviness to many of them. I specially enjoy "The Messiah", "Seven", "new age illsuin", "never be the same", "Holy fire"...ok I'll end up writing down every single song here. So do you get it? This performance is simply not of this world.

The only drawback (from being classified as a legendary disc) is that the production is, like all the other bands of the 80's, a bit flat. Still far from bad, but imagine Bloodgood with a production like Rob Rock. But perhaps it's better like this, 'cause I'm not sure if my heart could handle that!!!
