Well this grandpa of Rock'n'Roll has in his older days started to please my
heavy metal ears! At least with his latest release, Brutal Planet. The title
track, is actually one contender to the song of the year awards that will take
place later in this year, it is awesome. The text in this song is absolutely
brilliant. Listen to this: "It's such a brutal planet, it's such a living hell /
It was a holy garden, that's right where Adam fell / It's where the blood was
taken, it's where we chose to sin / It's where we first were naked, this is where
our death begins". This is great stuff. Of course many controversial people will
claim that Alice a pure satanic man, possessed by evil demons. What I'd like to
say to those is two things: 1. Listen to his songs before making a judgement. 2.
Alice has self proclaimed that he is a christian but his not doing christian
music but prophetic music. So if you like classic hardrock/heavy metal go and check this dude out, there are several tracks that will please your ears! I am eagerly waiting for the next release! |
