This is great! I had heard absolutley nothing from the band, beside that the band had changed lineup every second day or something.
So I was wondering if the band was going to change style of even worse - go commercial. But all my nightmares went to void when I recieved this
disc, man it is heavy! Brutal black metal at its best! They may not be as symphonic as they were before but if they were brutal before they are
that even more now!
They start of with the brutal mist of the spirtual dimension and after that they bring us heavy stuff almost until the end (beside that somewhat strange
and quite useless) the covenant. I consider of these 3-4 masterpieces and the rest (beside that last one) be pretty good.
The production is way better than it was before, but still there are room for improvement. Not bad though, but at least the drums could be better.
On overall, a pleasant release from the Swedish guys, if they could remove little of those doublebass drums, that tends to figure from the first second to the last,
and smooth their production they could very well dominate the black metal scene with their next release!
