Kekal - Embrace The Dead
|
What's the blackmetal-land no. 1? Well, that has to be Norway, but which
land is no. 2? How about Indonesia? Indonesia is the home of a nice band
called Kekal that plays atmospherical blackmetal and Embrace The Dead is
their second full-lenght album. That it's brutal can't be denied or
complained about, but the soundquality is not very good, mostly due to the
fact that in many songs the bass is almost gone. The music otherwise and
the lyrics are good, though. My absolute favourite is Longing For The
Thruth, the first song. It's one of the most atmospherical songs and has
got slightly better sound than the other ones too. In The Final Call, From
Within and Scripture Before Struggle they have succeeded with the
atmosphere perfectly again and made more good songs. By the way, Kekal has
got female vocals too and it sounds great between the screams.
Blackmetalheads, give this a shot if you aren't very strict about
production!
