Enamored - A Weapon for war |

There are two bands named Enamored, one is playing black/death metal and the other one is a metal/hardcore band hailing from Florida, Usa.
This review is about the later one. I remember I heard them a couple of years ago and I did not like them very much, most due to technical lackness
and a bad production. So I was not really hyped when the band wanted to send me their latest CD, 'a weapon for for'. But I recieved it and played it
and became shameful of having judged them too hasty. Because their first song kicked me to the floor. The singer Chris vocals can be described as half growly and half thrashy. They're not worldclass but good enough to please my ears. And on some tracks clean vocals are added to add more dimensions to the music. One of those tracks are Beauty Unsurpassed, are really good one. Slow rhytm guitar driven track with some surprisning moments. It's a perfect introducer, check it out (available on www.mp3.com) The production is also waaay better than it was on their first demo. Very good stuff indeed. |
