Yes!!! This is what I have been waiting for since the mysterious dissapearance of
Mordecai(if anyone knows anything about this band, mail me!).
From Ashes is a black metal band from Finland, playing atmospheric
brutal black metal, and I mean brutal! They remind at times of Satyricon and company, and also a bit of Deuteronomium when they were doing black (spell of hell). In this 3-song-demo we quickly understand that From Ashes means quality black metal.The use of cello and keyboards adds more atmosphere to the music, and they fit perfectly. All three songs will please your black metal ears and feed your black metal hunger. The lyrics are also great, mysterious but also very God-centered, as they should be. With a surprisingly good production, the only thing I leave wondering about, after hearing From ashes demo, is how long will this band be unsigned? |
