Where can I
get the CD?

The scream of the guillotine - A progressive rock theatrical production

This is a hard disc to review. Cause it is not actually a music disc, rather, as the title says, a theaterical piece of work. But I'll try. I know that the guys behind this project have been working hard on this one, and you'll notice it by the great production.
It is a story about a (young?) man that is, at the beginning, angry at God. He struggles with a lot of questions and thougths. He is nearly killed by suicide but his brother, that is a christian, prays for him and God saves him (Amen). At the end the main character gets saved (Amen again). Musically it is progressive stuff and I am really impressed by the guitarist, Phil Williams, he's a real shredder!
The sad thing is that there is not actually a lot of singing here, most of the "songs" he like a conversation, where the characters are talking to eachother, with the music playing in the background. I don't see any problems in doing this in one or two songs but when it is over half of the songs it becomes a little boring. That is sad, because Tom Denlinger has a really good voice, which reminds me about Jon Oliva of Savatage.
But the music is awesome and the Holy Spirit is on fire on this disc (I began to cry the first time I listened to it). So I am sure that God will use this talented band and hopefully they'll release more stuff in the future!
Hot shots: Tell me why, Andrew's Prayer
Overall: (not an average, due to the less amount of songs)
