Jerusalem - Volym tre

We all know Jerusalem, don't we? The cult band from Sweden that was one of the pioneers of christian hard rock in the late 70's. And they were more than once critized for their hard rock, because Christian cannot play hard music, so it must be from the devil. Ulf has told that people has claimed that he was the devil himself. Man, I cannot understand people that don't have anything better to do than condemning people, only God shall condemn, and I am pretty sure that He will proclaim Ulf&Company as "Not guilty"!!

Very well, this is an interesting release from the Swedes, containing "lost songs" from the 70's and 80's (which did not come upon a record because the tracks were too long). This is good classic hard rock, with Ulf's unique voice which adds some more power to the songs. A lot of cool guitarplaying are to be found as well. I consider this to be as good as Jerusalems classical albums Volume 1 and volume 2.

I have always loved Ulf's lyrics and as usual they are topnotch here as well, being radical and "flesh-eating" stuff! Many good songs like Så va de då, Le, le, le, Vår kärlek var död(epic ten minute track) makes you understand why Jerusalem is being considered as one of the top christian hard rock bands ever. As you can see the songs are written in Swedish, but calm down, it's released in English as well (called Those Were The Days).

This recommended for everyone that likes melodic hard rock!

Everyone kicks!
