Where can I get the CD?

Laudamus is a (now) four-piece unit from Piteå, Sweden. And they are playing traditional heavy metal, with
a modern touch to it. They've been around for over ten years but this is just their second full-length album.
You don't need to look in the booklet to see that Mr. Ken Tamplin (excellent last album) has been
involved in the makings of this album(many of the same dudes appearing on Ken's solo album also appears here)
, you simply hear the "Tamplin-sound" throughout the whole CD. For good and bad.
In this particular case I consider it bad, this sounds like a compilation of B-sides from Ken's own works.
The songs are thin and fail to deliever a satisfaction to our heavy metal ears. The singer's voice could be
described as highpitch-wannabe, because he fails to take on the higher notes. It would have been wiser to create
songs that actually fits his voice, because the dude can sing.
There are some highlights, including 'my heart's on fire' and 'hear my prayer' but it still leaves me very dissapointed because I was expecting much more from
these guys. Sad but true I cannot recommend this album for you, unless you have much money and have already
bought the top albums in this genre.
