Where can I
get the CD?

Shadow gallery - Legacy

I so well remember the time when I by an VERY LUCKY accident came across of my first Shadow Gallery album. It was the, by now, legendary Tyranny album which made me wonder if I had entered the music heaven after starting listening to it. It was simply the best album I've ever heard! Therefor I had SOME expectations for the next release, so I was quite nervous when starting to listening to their newest release - LEGACY. Because I know that several bands fail to produce another great album after producing such a masterpiece as Tyranny was, or still is.
But where others fail Shadow Gallery succeds, this is a pure masterpiece! And though it is just 6 tracks it's not a short CD, cause the last track is quite awesomely 33minutes long (even it has some "nothing happends parts" for some minutes) It starts with the sequel to CiS's Cliffhanger, and if you've heard the previous one you will recognize this one as well. I love it! It has some intersting progressive parts at the end at the vocals rule as they always do, great harmony here! Secondly comes Destination unknown, and it is even better than the Cliffhanger 2, this is one of my favorite tracks on this CD. After that a ballad names colors came and it continues to bring us great stuff! I love you Mike Baker, you have the best vocals I've heard! Even if none of the next tracks would be any good, this CD would still be great, because the first three songs are simply awesome! Strangely enough this is not the case with Shadow Gallery's Legacy, because it will just getting better! S.G. continues to surprise me with the next two tracks, they rule (as always...) but after that comes the super-smashing-masterpiece, the light. This one is more than awesome. I cannot describe it, but if you're just LITTLE in to the progressive stuff, you have to love this one!

As you realize we are now talking about a masterpiece, such a piece that doesn't grow on trees. This is easily on of the best CD's out there. I am not sure if it up to Tyranny's class, but if it isn't, it's not far away!
