Heavy metal fans rejoice! Because Leviticus has been reunioned and started to tour again! Amen to that! If you are not familiar with Leviticus this is a perfect album to make a difference in that particular area. They are playing classical heavy metal and during the good old days (read the 80's) they were, along with Europe, considered to be Sweden's best heavy metal band! Over the years have had three different singers and of course it depends on your musical taste which one you consider to be the best one, but I personally like Peo Pettersson most of them, and I am very pleased to know that he also is the present one. On this "best of record" they have 16 songs from all of their albums and each of them is providing cracking heavy metal to please our hungry metal soul. To name some good tunes here I would say "over the hills" (legendary song!), the semi ballad "Oh Lord" and the classic heavy metal cracker "Flames of fire" (Treasure seeker anyone?). But believe me, the whole album is filled with metal goodies to please your ears. So, if you are up to heavy metal this is an album to catch! |
