Let me start by telling you this; I had high expectations with this one. First of all it is the band of mastermind Ken Tamplin and secondly the budget was a whopping 250,000$(!!). So the one thing you can be sure of is; the production is superb! With a mastermind + superb production, what can go wrong? Sadly the equation is solved like this: Mastermind + suberb production = commercial hard rock In the late 80's it would surely had been a CD played alot in the radio stations. Sadly for Magdallan the 80's was over when they released this one (1992) so it didn't become the super hit that they had hoped for. Because as a regular metalhead you avoid this. It's too sleezy for us! Actually I only find one interesting song here, Radio Bikini, and it not worth buying a whole album just to get that one. Give your money to your local church or to anyone else needing it instead of buying this one. |
