Where can I get the CD?

Neal Morse is mastermind and
a musically genius, playing almost every single instrument there is.Additionally(if that wasn't enough) he has one
of the finest voices out there.
I was more than sad to hear that he had left Spock's Beard last
year. But just a short time afterwards I heard that he was going to release a new solo album, which
was going to tell his lifestory. Amen to that!
Ok, but you also know when your favorite artist is going to release something new you have very high
expectations on it. And with this album I think I had the highest expectations I've ever had!
But there must be something wrong with this man! He doesn't seem to know how to produce bad albums
(I could teach him a lesson or two)!
Here we recieve a double CD(mine is a three-CD-set with a bonus disc) called Testimony, telling the life story. How he was
in deep despair (after loosing his car(where he'd stored all his stuff), girlfriend and work) and how God saved him. Amen again!
Musically we have symphonic progressive rock and it's absolute brilliant! With Mike Portnoy(Dream Theater)
sticking with the drums we also get that extra power in the rhythm.I can honestly say that I tried to find
fillers and bad songs here, but with not much success. Except some weak sections on disc two this is a
splendid listening experience from the first second to the very last. Specially the tracks Somber days,
It's all I can do, I'm willing and Oh, to feel Him are simply not of this world.Somber days is actually
one of the best songs I've ever heard (and I have heard quite many over the years).
Bands, if you're planning to release an album this year and you want
that "Victory's best album 2003"-award, think twice, it'd take something massive to surpass this one!
"For I am willing
And I am broken
All I want is the life
You have spoken
Oh, Father
If I give you my life
Will you come turn the night to day?
For I am willing
You don't have to break me
Take all that I am
Don't forsake me
Oh Father
Come and take me now"
(Neal Morse - I am willing)
