Mortification - S/T

This is the second album from the christian metalwarriors from Down under, in other words, Australia.
This is a better album than their debut album, Break the Curse 1990. The style is much more brutal and the old chap, that is Stewe Rowe's voice is lower. The drummer Jason Sherlock is still in a good shape, like in the first album and the new guitarist, Michael Carlisle is doing an excellent work. Best of all, they still continue to write good lyrics with a strong gospel message. Specially the song Turn: .Death, hell, torment, suffering will overcome you, unless you turn to Christ... The song is just 30 seconds long, but the message goes straith into the heart.

Even the image on the booklet has a good message: demons being pulled down to the eternal fire. That is a powerful message of victory. To make a long story short: This album is great. I can't find anything negative with it (except that it's nowadays very difficult to find...)

Style: Death metal
Hot shots: All of them is enjoyable
