Many say that this is a lousy record, because they have given up almost all of their hard attitude behind them.
But I still consider this to be awesome stuff (one of the few nonmetal records I love), even if it's not hard it
is some high quality rock. And the lyrics is absolutley great, but that's not a surprise, this is Petra and Petra means
good lyrics. In my struggeling times (we all have those) it often happend that I did put in this recods in my stero and pushed the repeat button on the title track, "no doubt". I think this is one of the best lyrics I have ever heard from a band, telling us that "No doubt, it will be alright". Very good and true, we often have to remind ourselves that the hard time Will pass and Petra helps us here to do that. Thank you Petra, you've helped me through many hard times! Most of the other songs are also very good, so this is a CD that you should have in your collection, either you like rock or not. |
