Where can I get the CD?

Petra - Wake-up call
|
This was a surprising album by the American rockers, after releasing crackers like Unseen power
and Beyond belief(awesome album!), they here slow things down and give us a midtempo rock album!
Of course that's a dissapointment for us hardrockers but in some cases a band may succeed as well with these
kind of albums (i.e. I personally live their album No doubt). Sadly that is not the situation in this case,
beside a few hits, I find the album quite boring and if it wasn't was Petra's superb lyrics I doubt that I would
ever listen to it. Yes, they still manage to write awesome stories in their songs, so everything is not bad.
Some heavier stuff is actually find here, like Praying man and Good news . But most of the
time we get to hear quite slow and soft songs. Some of these though are the best stuff of the entire CD, and the
best of them all being Believer in deed. That is one of the better songs Petra has ever written, suberp song!
This is not an album you shall give to your heavymetal friend as a christmas gift, I more recommend
to listen to it over a romantic dinner with your love in life!
