There is many ways to define an album, it can be crap, bad, average, good,
great or awesome. Actually there is not many awesome albums out there,
perhaps just a couple (like Stryper's THWD) out there. But now we can add
another one to that collection, because Sacred Warrior has somehow succeded to
produce a just thrilling album. If you didn't know that I love melodic-metal you
know it now, but what I love even more is melodic-metal with strong lyrics,
and Rebellion has so strong lyrics that you sometimes just want to cry out to
the Lord. The song He died has one of my alltime favorite lyrics:
"It's time you realize what he has done for you Just open up your eyes and face the truth Why don't you realize what God has done for you He sent His only Son to die for you" In my point of view this what christian metal is all about. But what I love with S.W. is that they have placed this release on the internet available for you all, so make sure you visit www.sacredwarrior.net !! Their singer, Rey, is very original and he has one of the best highpitch voices I've heard, and the rest of the band is VERY talented. Surely this is a classic disc that you cannot afford to miss if you're into melodic-metal! |
