This is one of christian metal's most famous album, after selling millions of
albums in the states. The question is: Did they deserve it? The answer is: Yes! This album has everything! Of course you have to love highpitch-guitar-driven-melodic metal. But if your into that kind of stuff you'll love this album. After a short intro (Abyss) Stryper's most famous song comes, "To hell with the devil (YEAH!) it has one of the most hitting choruses I've ever heard. After this comes "calling on you" and "free" both very powerful songs. I could name every song on this album, because it totally rocks! The last song is a famous Christmas song, called Winter wonderland, I personally think it rocks! The lyrics are VERY strong, almost every song is based on the Bible. The music is also very exceptional, well written and almost every tune has a tendence to remain in your head for some time. "A true legendary album" |
