If you somehow own this album, consider yourself to be a lucky person. This is one of the most hidden yet precious gems in the starving christian power metal area. I searched for this CD for
years and I was more than a happy man when mr metal himself (Johannes Jonsson) told me that he'd found one for me! Party time! Well, perhaps a short introduction is needed, T.S. is a German consisting members of Lightmare, Seventh Avenue and Luca Turulli. And they have decided to record covers of classical christan metal tunes from various legendary christian bands such as Jerusalem, Stryper and Bloodgood (to name a few) and they are doing a darn good job! My personal favorites are 'A tribute to the past','Too late for living(Saint), 'To hell with the devil(stryper), 'Silence screams'(Rez), 'Warrios of light'(Force 3(??), 'Heroes'(Bride) and 'Meet again'(Creed). As you can see almost every song is listed here !! With such a talented band releasing this quality music it is a real shame that is shall be this difficult to get it, because this could very well be the best christian power metal album released in the 90's!! |
